Losing weight in this New Year is Possible!

Healthy Eating in 2014I know most of us say, “this year I’m really going to lose weight and be more active.” But somehow life gets in the way. We lose a few pounds then we start gaining it back.  We miss a few days at the gym and then we just stop going altogether. Then we feel guilty.  Stop the madness.  Baby steps can make a huge impact on our weight as well as our health. Eating a little differently, being just little more active, and taking a few safe and effective supplements can start you on your way to more energy, better health, and a smaller jean size. Below are a few suggestions I’ve found work for me.

  1. Eat more organic green, orange, red, and yellow vegetables.  For fruit, eat berries and melons. Pesticides on vegetables will increases estrogen and not the good estrogens.
  2. Eat meats and eggs that have had no antibiotics or hormones in their food.  Antibiotics and hormones also have a tendency to add weight and increases estrogens.
  3. Cook with MacNut oil, coconut oil, and use extra virgin olive oil for finishing oil.
  4. Do not drink fruit juice; fruit juice increases blood sugar levels.
  5. Stay away from anything white, like potatoes, corn, pasta, and white rice.
  6. Try walking every day or if too cold or too hot outside turn on the radio and dance. I dance with my dogs, but that’s just me.
