Chef Mimi’s “Cool” Recipe for the “Hot” Dog

Mimi canine fairy1 smHow do you know you have a “Hot” Dog?

If your dog loves to lie on the cool tile floor, has red and inflamed skin, and has a quick temper, you may have a “Hot” dog

Chef Mimi’s One (1) “Cool” recipe for the “Hot” dog

Only use organic fruits & vegetables to decrease the toxic load in your Dog:

1 cup of mixed lettuces (no iceberg)

2 medium cucumbers peeled & chopped

1 stalk of celery chopped

¼ cup of Chopped broccoli
4 or 5 blueberries, or blackberries, or frozen cranberries

May double or triple for a large dog. When starting to feed different foods to your pup start with small amounts in their regular food (1 or 2 teaspoons for small dogs and 1 tablespoon for larger dogs )

Purée all ingredients in blender or food processor. (You may add, chia seeds, nutritional yeast, and calcium) will keep in refrigerator for up to 4 days or you may freeze.

Chef Mimi’s suggestions for “Cool” or “Cold” proteins

Mimi Likes:

Scallops (frozen in bag)

Cod (frozen in bag)

Duck ( too expensive)

Rabbit ( Hard to get)

Also may use neutral proteins like; Beef, Bison, Sardines, and Salmon
